Tears blurred my vision as I stared at the door long after Silas had exited the room.

"He is the most aggravating person I have ever met," Nora announced in annoyance but I remained silent as my thoughts ran wild.

If Silas handed me over to the rogues what would become of me? What would the rogues do to me?
