"Scarlett, can I speak to you?" Silas called out to me, stopping my grand escape.

Nora nudged me as she made a face at me and I ignored her as I turned back to Silas.

"Walk with me," he said and we fell into step as we walked back towards the pack house.

"Nora sure seems to be a fan of picnics," I commented to fill the awkward silence.

"She got it from..." Silas began but stopped himself and I knew what he wanted to say.
