The door burst open and Rowan walked in looking all excited . I realized that the deed has been done .

"How did it go?" I asked. I need to ask to know how it all went while I was away having a meeting with Ryker.

" you should always know that I won't disappoint you. I won't let you down " he said"It went well and she is in the room you told us to keep her "

I nodded my head " That's good then. Without wasting any more time, let's visit her"

" that spoilt brat is a rough one. She put up a fight but then we were able to keep her unconscious "

I nodded "That's good. Let go to her "

Rowan nodded and he led the way. I followed closely behind him as he directed me to where they kept the girl.

We finally got there and I went inside. My wolf felt so uneasy the moment I went inside. Something was off. I've never felt this way before. Why do I seem so excited? Or should I say why does my wolf seem so excited about seeing this lady?

I tried to calm myself. I can't be acting like a child right now. Rowan suspected something was off cos I paused . I stopped walking completely trying to get myself together .

" is everything alright alpha ?" He asked carefully.

I nodded " let go"

There was another inner room so I was led to the room. I sighted a figure lying unconscious on the bed. She has her hands and legs both tied. Then I felt the pull.

She is my mate! How is that possible? This can't be happening right now. She can't be my mate. She can't. I can never be with an enemy's daughter. I can't. She isn't even my type.

I gave her a clear look from where I was standing. She looks so small on the bed. She isn't my type of woman. I don't want to have anything to do with her. I need to reject her.

" you seem different alpha. Hope all is well ?" Rowan asked in concern . I understand that he is worried but he need to keep shut and stop asking me that questions .

I turned around and said to him "Let's go to my office "

I made sure I left the instructions of keeping a close watch on her. The soldiers are the one with her . I don't want her out of that place not until it's time for the auction. I can easily sell her off after rejecting her .

I don't want her in my life. She is better off with someone else. She is a spoilt brat too according to what they say. I can't be the one taking care of a spoilt brat.

" what's going on Alpha? You don't seem too good after seeing her. Is there something wrong? Please talk to me ?"

I heaved a sigh " I don't want her in the pack. She needs to be out of the pack as soon as possible " I said to him.

Rowan nodded "Is that the only issue ?"

I heaved a sigh " There is something else " I said to him and he paid attention.

" she is my mate. She is my mate Rowan. The moment I got into that room, my wolf was so uneasy. Then I felt the pull when I saw her lying on the bed "

Rowan was so shock " this can't be happening . Is the moon goddess trying to punish you or something ?"

I shrugged " I don't know why this but one thing is for sure, I don't want her. I need her out of my life for good "

Rowan nodded " I'll do as you say. We'll prepare for the auction. It's going to take place tomorrow in the evening so I think that's a perfect time for her to disappear from her for good "

"Yeah, please. "

"Will you reject her ?" Rowan asked

Isn't it obvious that I was going to reject her ? "of course yes"

He nodded " ok then . I take my leave now so we can ask the maid to prep her up for tomorrow's event " he said to me and left .

This whole thing is kind of funny to me. How is that even possible that a woman like her will be my mate? Of all people, it has to be Ryker's daughter. That monster daughter needs to disappear for good "

This is my wish and it shall happen.

There was another knock on the door . I hissed . Why can't they let me have some peace . " who is there ?" I asked angrily .

The door was opened and Willow walked inside. She had this smile on her face like she always does "Look who I've been looking for " she said

A smirk crossed my lips. Willow came over to my side. She stood in between my legs and leaned a little cos I was sitting. She placed her lips on my lips " I've missed you so much "

I grinned " I've missed you too "

She wasted no time in pulling her clothes. I got up and carried her to the couch. Willow is always mischievous, she always want to be in control so I allowed her to do her heart desire with me .

Most time I zone off cos my mind went back to the spoilt brat . What kind of werewolf is she ?

I wondered to myself.

A few hours later. Willow was done and then she lay naked on my chest. She trailed a small kiss on my chest. I still didn't react to that. She must have suspected something was off because she asked "Are you sure you're alright? You don't seem to be in the mood "

I tried to officer her a smile but it came out as a grimace " why would you say so ?"

She shrugged then she looked up at me "You don't seem to be into today's sex like you always. Is there something bothering you? You know you can always talk to me about anything that's disturbing you "

"There is nothing on my mind right now. I've been so busy lately that I have so many things preoccupying my mind "

She gave me a look " I hope a woman isn't part of this thing you're thinking about "

"of course not. No woman will ever give me this satisfaction. I don't have extra women so don't worry yourself "

Willow grinned turn pecked my lips.

My eyes snapped opened . This time around , I found myself in a different room . Where am I ? It's nothing like the one I used to live in . This looks so bland and empty .

I tried to remember where the place was then it all clicked. The sting on my neck then the hand on my mouth. I was kidnapped. That was when I realized that I was tied with a chain. I helped myself up in a sitting position, it wasn't easy but then I succeeded.

I stared at the big chain around my wrist and the one around my ankle . Who would do such a think to me ? Who are they ? And what do they want from men? If they want money then I can give them more but they have to let me go .

I need to negotiate with them. I can't let them Lock me up here for something I have no idea about. I tried to break free from the chain but nothing was helping. It was so hard. My wrist will surely bruise. I was so restless that I began to scream for help.

" help me! Someone help me please !" I can't let them kill me. I don't even know this person. What did they want from me?

"Someone please help !"

It was at that moment the door burst open and a man walked in. He glared at me "You think shouting will save you? Look around here. No one is going to rescue you." He said with so much confidence.

I tried to act tough " Who are you and why do you have me? Why am I here? I don't even know you people "

He cackles "You don't need to know us, little princess. You'll know why we have you here soon "

The door burst opened for the second time again and this time around , another man walked inside . That wasn't what caught my attention . What caught my attention was the discomfort I felt when he walked in. My wolf howl . She was restless .

My eyes met that of the other stranger , the moment our eyes met , I knew who he really was to me .

" Mate !" I found myself saying

He made no move. It was as if he already knew that I was his mate. He took a long stride to me . His gorgeous eyes caught my attention . How can he be so insanely gorgeous? I've never seen someone looking as good looking as he was .

His eyes hold nothing but hatred for me. Why? Has he seen me somewhere before? Why much hatred for me?

" I, Maverick Storm, the alpha of the moonlight pack reject you Piper as my mate," he said and a heart-crunching pain was felt in my chest area. I was finding it hard to breathe.

" no...no ... it hurts " I cried out

" you'll be told what to do soon. The maids will bring you some food " That was all he said and then they left leaving me alone to my pain .

He did not pity me. He is a monster. He doesn't even care that he hurt my feelings. How am I going to live with this pain? How?
