TEN YEARS ON

Lucretia was fast asleep when she heard someone shouting her name outside the window. "Hey...Lucretia...., wake up sleepy head...." The voice exclaimed, accompanied by a gentle tapping on the windowpane.

Lucretia shrugged lazily out of bed and made her way to the window, her hair a tangled mess. She leaned on the windowsill, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Philip........" she expressed, her voice husky with sleep.
