Regina Ludwick is a young orphan aged eighteen, born and bred in Merkelstein, Germany. 

Her mother died when giving birth to her and her father, a derelict abandoned her one night on the streets and she almost died of pneumonia. Fortunately, she was rescued and taken to one of the orphanages in the state.

She grew up in Oberwald orphanage and when she came of age, she was adopted by an Adrian police officer, Jesse Williams.
