Then my phone rings and I grab it, answering it straight away.

"Do you think I would just leave you like that?" he's chuckling. He's whispering, and I can picture him lying in bed in the next room, in nothing but his boxers.

"This is torture," I complain.

"I know baby," he whispers down the phone, "but it's only for one night."

"Not really though," I grumble. "It'll be every time we stay here."

"Not forever," he's laughing at me.
