"I've done it," I say as we walk out of the police station.

"You did." Jarrod smiles at me, pride shining in his eyes.

"Thank you."

"Stop thanking me." He tuts. "This isn't on me. This is all you. You achieved this, not me."

"You helped," I tell him. "I'd never have done it without you."
