I started the same night I got back from Reeves.

I didn’t plan to, I had told myself I would sleep first and start fresh in the morning with a clear head.

But I sat down at my desk to add Reeves’s folder to the encrypted drive.

I ended up still sitting there three hours later with four windows open on my screen and a legal pad covered in notes beside me.

The thread was there. I could feel it.
