The morning air felt cool as I walked into the living room, my mind already crowded with work and personal matters.

The kids already left for school, the maids were trimming the flowers outside while Ava was downstairs with her coffee and tablet.

She looked calm and put together, just like always, but her eyes gave her away, curious and eager to know more.
