I just smiled like a f**l who was given money to spoil herself when Nicholas said he wasn’t going anywhere. I felt like I was beginning to have a place in his ruthless heart.

When I woke up by 1:30am, Nicholas already headed back to his room.

For some reason, I was feeling so grateful because the house was peaceful once more.

And I love the way the air feels so free, cool, and has the kids' scent in it.
