I finally took her to the place and gave her time to talk to the family as she wanted. I noticed how she took it so seriously, this only meant I was getting there already and there was nothing that could come in to destroy my effort.

I checked the time and came up with a different lie saying, “Let’s eat some roadside meat, they are your favorite.” I held her hands in the process and she agreed.
