Too Wild to Resist

The Gravendale cinema pulsed with life that Friday night, the air thick with chatter, perfume, and the scent of buttered popcorn. Crowds swarmed in and out of the glowing glass doors, teenagers buzzing about superheroes, couples waiting for thrillers, and glittering guests stepping onto red carpets for blockbuster premieres.

A sleek, exotic car slid into the parking lot, drawing curious glances. The driver, a woman whose confidence preceded her, parked with calculated ease before stepping out. The lamplight caught the shimmer of her dress as she adjusted it with a practiced flick. She reached into the car for her phone, angled her face, and captured effortless selfies. No filters, no edits.

Seya Richardson was born photogenic. With her flawless curves and striking poise, she was the kind of woman who turned sidewalks into runways without even trying.

Sliding her phone into her purse, she glanced at her wristwatch. Thirty minutes to spare before her movie began. Her internet had betrayed her earlier, refusing to process the online ticket, and she would never risk missing the opening scene.

“Excuse me.” Seya’s heels clicked as she glided past a group of giggling teenagers toward the ticket counter. Within minutes she had her ticket, and the complimentary popcorn and soda that came with it. She noticed the stream of patrons heading inside and quickened her pace, her graceful dash on heels both daring and mesmerizing.

Two young men noticed. One of them, with careless charm etched into every movement, tapped his friend on the shoulder. His eyes had already locked onto Seya.

“Get the tickets. I’ll catch up with her,” Jason Carlton murmured.

Jason carried the polished air of a playboy, but it was only the packaging. Beneath the charm and swagger, he was a gentleman, and a hopeless romantic. Women who radiated sensuality captivated him most, and Seya Richardson, she was perfection sculpted into flesh.

He caught up with her in a heartbeat, stepping ahead to pull the door open with a small, chivalrous bow. “Please,” he smiled.

Seya arched one brow at him, lips curving into a slow, sensual smile before striding past, hips swaying like an invitation.

Jason’s smile deepened. Ben Cooper arrived just in time to see his friend trail after the striking stranger, unaware that Gravendale’s Friday night had just shifted from ordinary to unforgettable.

Ben caught up with Jason before he followed Seya from behind.

“Hey, Bro. Do you want to slow down a bit?” He held out two bottles of soda. “You might want to be useful.”

“I don’t need anything to burden me right now.” Jason smiled dreamily. “I think I’m in love.”

“I see, she’s sexy and would make any dog growl towards her. And I’ll tell you this for free.

You’re not in-love but purely in lust.” Ben shove the soda on Jason’s broad chest. “Now hold the drinks, damn it. If I knew this was the kind of shit you’d be about I would have stayed back at my apartment.”

Jason pretended to be hurt and grabbed the drinks before they fell to the floor. “Don’t waste more of my time.” He hurried in.

Ben grinned and went after him. “Sleek talker.” He spread his arms before a broad movie poster, “I should have stuck my ass in my room.” He tried to stop one of the popcorn bag from falling but it was too late. He played the popcorn bag like a ball and the snacks went spilling on the floor. “Oh, great.”

A lady made to sit next to Seya. Seya quickly put her popcorn bag on the seat. She smiled politely, “sorry, my boyfriend has this seat. Thank you.”

The lady nodded and moved on to the next seat. Jason stretched his neck in search of Seya. That beautiful curly hair helped him spot her faster. Seya had already seen him from the corners of her eyes. She knew he would come in search of her. How he would find her intrigued her.

She believed the suppleness of her skin captivated Jason from the moment he had set his eyes on her. The movie started and everyone wanted to settle on their seats.

Jason joined her. “I’m glad I found you,” he pointed at the seat.

Seya nodded, “sure. I don’t think it has an owner yet.”

“Pardon,” a man said from behind. “I need to get through.”

“Of course,” Jason stepped backward.

Seya stood to make more room for the man to go through. Someone nudged Jason’s shoulder from the row behind him and he flipped forward. Jason and Seya held on to each other to avoid tripping on the people in the row in front of them. Many audience to their blossoming attraction thought of them as lost lovers, while some keen experienced onlookers knew they were both flirtatious opposite sexes.

Jason snapped his fingers. “Now that I’ve thought hard on it, I think this face looks familiar.” His lips curled in a triumphant grin. The company you work for is a subsidiary of GAC Incorporated?”

Seya nodded, “you’re right. And it happens we may have been at a similar party we never made acquaintance.”

The movie was halfway through when Ben waded throw the narrow path. He was lucky to find a seat and heaved a sigh of relief before munching on the popcorn without a soda.

***

Two days after the movies, they got talking over the phone and via chats to hit up the chemistry between them. Seya and Jason had a date in his apartment. Jason backed her up against the wall, placed one hand on the wall and used the other hand to hold her waist. His gaze glowed upon resting on her heaving breasts that barely stayed cupped in the tight corset tube she wore.

Seya kissed him ferociously. Jason grasp on her waist become fiercer and Seya moaned under his searing lips.

Jason knew he had to stop. He loved girls who did not hold anything back but he felt something beyond sex for Seya. He was looking for a long-time relationship. He was tired of taking a random girl every other time of the month to spend his free time off work.

“Seya,” he whispered against her lips.

She took her name out of his mouth with a deep kiss until he led her to the bedroom. In the aftermath of the passion they shared, Jason cradled Seya in his arms, killing the urge to make love to her again.

Days turned into weeks and Seya never failed to show up at his apartment, and he could not resist her.
