“This is the second time I saw her.” I inhaled a shaky breath. “In a mirror…she’s always in a mirror…like she’s trapped…”

“Do you remember anything specific about her, Freya?” Maggie asked while placing a chilled can of coke in my hands. “Anything that may have seemed out of the ordinary?”

“Her eyes were bleeding. And she tried to reach for me.” I swallowed past the lump in my throat. “It scared the crap out of me and I just…ran.”
