I stared at Cameron’s beautiful face, filling my eyes as if seeing him for the first time. There was a tiny speck of blood on his lips, but that didn’t concern me. It was the shape of his lips that had me mesmerised.

He was breathing hard, as if he had run a marathon and I found myself doing the same, not because I was mimicking him or anything…but because I was overwhelmed by the emotions coursing through my mind.
