It was about half an hour after Freya had fallen asleep in my arms that I crawled out of bed and tucked Freya in safely.

Placing a tender kiss to her forehead, I moved back to watch her sleep peacefully. My heart felt full, complete. It was a miracle that Freya returned my feelings after everything she had been through. But I was glad that we could move past our differences, our misunderstandings, to finally form a beautiful bond of our own.
