The sky above me was black, swirling like a cursed storm. The gates of the Demon Kingdom stood tall and twisted, carved with screaming faces and symbols older than time. I stepped forward, my cloak dragging across the scorched ground. Each step made the earth hiss beneath my boots, but I didn’t flinch.
