Hades' POV

I stood there for a moment, looking at the spot where Erinyes disappeared into the dark.

His screams still echoed in the air.

"Fool," I muttered. "No one can defeat me."

I turned around and looked at the open path before me.

The darkness was thick again, but this time, I didn’t care.

I moved forward alone.

My other assistants came running to me.

"My king!" one of them shouted. "We felt the earthquake. What happened?"
