“What do you expect? He's a hot mess, whining about his damaged reputation.” Ashley responded, settling into her office chair.

“Does he suspect you?”

Ashley laughed. “Suspect me? He has no reason to suspect me… Yet.” She added. Her expression turned brooding as she recalled Bruce's attitude towards her at the hospital and Rachel's confident smile.
