I shuddered, not at the thought but at the possible answer.

It could be a 'yes' after all, Shelly's so stupid.

An unreasonable rage gripped me. My jaw tightened and I balled my fists.

Is Shelly Mchan mad? Is she out of her senses?

Doesn't she have any self worth?

Fuming, I tried to think of what they were doing in his office.
