I skim through the page, my eyes scanning the line as I read what is labelled as lists of leaves and roots.

They're not poison exactly, but they're all antidotes for poison, and as I read on, I realise that each one is fit for only certain poisons.

... Otherwise, they 'antidote' might end up worsening the effects.

I'm fascinated as I read on; there are so many herbs and antidotes in here.

I find a leaf that's good for a fever, a tree bark that's good for forest rat bites and ...
