I'm silent for a while before saying anything.

"What... wh... I------"

The words get stuck in my throat, so I fall silent.

But then, Fenric's thumb runs over my jaw, causing me to look up at him.

"What is it?" He asks.

I take in a breath, letting the words tumble out of my mouth. "What if you teach, but I can't learn?"

His lips part slightly at this, so I continue, "What if my opponent kills me?"

"That won't happen."
