Darius's quarters were twice the size of mine, with thick rugs covering stone floors and a fireplace that actually worked. But comfort was the last thing on my mind as I paced in front of his desk.

"You're going to wear a hole in the floor," he said from where he sat reviewing documents.

"I'm thinking."

"You're spiraling." He set down his papers. "Talk to me."

I stopped pacing. "The intruder said there are five more spies. We need to identify them before the memorial."

"Agreed. And?"
