Inside the plane, my anxiety about the trip gets worse when I start experiencing severe air sickness almost immediately after takeoff. My stomach churns violently, and I feel dizzy

“Are you okay?” Cassie asks with concern, noticing how pale I’ve become.

“I think I’m getting air sick,” I reply weakly, trying to focus on breathing steadily to keep from vomiting.

“That’s weird,” Cassie says.
