The two of them start shaking as they look at me with fear in their eyes. Sarah's tears are flowing freely now, and Jack keeps wiping sweat from his forehead even though it's not that hot.

"Please don't kill us," Sarah pleads, her voice breaking. "We're sorry. We didn't mean for it to happen."

"Please, Dominic," Jack adds, his voice trembling. "It was an accident. We never wanted Luna to get hurt."
