Even though I can see how weak Cassie looks, she manages to grab my arm and squeeze it gently.

"Luna," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the noise of the crowd. "I can still manage. We need to finish this match."

I shake my head immediately, looking down at her pale face with worry. "No, Cassie. You need to rest. You just collapsed on the field."

"Please," she insists, trying to sit up.
