Luna’s POV

The hotel room vision continues around me with scary clarity. I can see Alex moving closer to me, his eyes full of worry and something else I can’t understand. The anger I was feeling toward him starts to fade as he gets nearer.

“Luna, please don’t leave,” Alex says softly, his voice gentle and pleading. “We can work through this together.”
