Chapter 6- The Alpha and the Omega

Alpha Kens's POV:

I stood emotionless as the guard dropped lifeless like a fallen log. My blade dripping red with his blood.

Mercy is a language I was never taught. And forgiveness was like poison on my tongue.

My mother, a she-devil in a woman's skin; carved out my heart long before I even learned how to wield a sword. She taught me every dark magic I knew and raised me to be cruel and ruthless.

I was stronger, undefeatable, and more ferocious than a normal werewolf.

Strange, isn't it? A werewolf calling a demon his mother.

Sometimes, I wonder if I truly belong to her...or if somewhere out there, a real family exists.

But one thing was clear: weakness disgusts me.

That was why I created the system.

The capture of weak females and vampires, dragged here to be used by my soldiers to produce stronger offspring and hybrids, strong enough to spill rivers of blood in my name.

Every scream, every cry, is nothing but fuel for the empire I build.

One of my soldiers suddenly came in and pulled me from my thoughts.

“The latest batch of slaves has arrived, Alpha.” He said to me, head bowed.

I turned to him and gave a slow nod in response.

~

I was getting nearer to the slave carriage when I heard loud noises. It was more like a woman crying; I knew the guards were probably causing trouble again.

I hastened my footsteps and arrived just in time to witness a bloody scene: a young lady tearing one of my guards' heads off with her teeth.

But that wasn't what shocked me.

It was her aura.

Dark, powerful, and strange.

It was something I had never experienced before.

She gave off a demon vibe, yet her claws, fangs, and eye color hinted at something else. They were strange, like those of the Devil from stories.

Her long silver hair was mysterious, her heart-shaped face was even more inviting, and her blood-colored lips fit her perfectly.

Despite the blood on her mouth, I felt drawn to her. She was beautiful, and her dark aura made her more interesting.

She seemed dark and heartless like me.

My wolf surged inside me, growling with excitement.

It had never reacted to anyone this way, not even in battle.

“That's enough!” I thundered with a loud voice when I noticed she was about to kill another.

I moved closer to the scene with an intimidating frown on my face. She didn't look intimidated but kept staring at me, eyeball to eyeball, as if daring me to act.

I was surprised. Most people trembled when I spoke. But she didn't even flinch.

“Hey, behave. He's the Alpha!” One of the slaves whispered to her, but she scowled in response.

I hated being insulted. Especially not from a slave I considered weak.

“You need better soldiers,” she remarked, glancing at the guards. “They spend more time molesting women than doing their jobs. Not that I care, except for the children who might result from their silly games.”

I noticed her eyes lingering on my body, and I could swear I heard her curse.

“You haven't changed at all, still the same grumpy face. The only difference is the body, you're more built now. But your face is still as ugly as I remember,” she seethed, hate clearly visible in her voice.

“Who are you?” I asked, breathing out the word. I was sure we had never met before, and even more certain I wasn't ugly.

There was a look of surprise in her eyes.

As if she couldn't believe I didn't recognize her.

“A slave, of course. Or what else do you think I am?”

“A slave?” I was bewildered. “You mean a slave created this mess?” I looked at the ground, which was covered in blood and stomach intestines.

“A slave didn't just create this,” she answered. “A slave made it and would do it again if your guards don't put their act together,” she threatened.

The audacity of her words burned me.

But my wolf was howling with approval.

I stood silent for a while.

“Take the bodies away. The injured ones to the clinic, and the slaves to their quarters. As for her…” I smirked, turning to the stupid brave woman. “Take her to the women’s hospital. She'll make a fine baby machine.”

The soldiers moved swiftly, transferring the dead bodies as they handcuffed the women and dragged them away.

But the woman just stood there, unfazed, eyes locked on me.

I stared at her, amused by her boldness. Until one of my soldiers walked towards her with an evil grin.

“Cooperate, my lady. I don't want to hurt you,” the soldier said, with a fake smile on his face.

I chuckled lightly. Michael is so good at faking emotions.

“You aren't serious, are you?” She questioned me, eyes darting between the soldier and me.

I nodded in affirmation.

Michael approached her gently with a silver-threaded rope. He roughly dragged her, and she bit him.

“I warned you earlier: don't touch me!” she thundered.

Suddenly she let out a low growl and I was taken aback.

What kind of a vampire slave growls like a werewolf?

“Hey, calm down,” Michel coaxed, trying to reassure her. He stretched his hands again to grab her, but in one swift movement, she lifted him and knocked him to the ground.

I was impressed, and so were my soldiers.

She was quick and strong, and I found myself wondering what other things she was capable of.

“Enough of all this!” I thundered as I strode towards her, my eyes locked on hers. She didn't back down; instead, she stood her ground, her eyes flashing with stubbornness.

“I'm not afraid of you.” She spat. Her voice was low and rude.

“Good. You shouldn't be afraid of me.But you should be afraid of what I can do to you. Don't fool yourself into thinking you're the most powerful creature here. I am not just an Alpha; I'm a warlord! And i will tear you to shreds if you make another stupid move!” I growled as I moved closer to her.

“You monster!” She sneered, “I'm sure your mother made you the warlord. Will you ever be free from your family's grip?”

Her words held more hatred than rage.

But they irritated me because she knew nothing about my family.

And I had no need of a rebellious slave.

With a ruthless mind, I raised my claws, ready to tear her into pieces, but a loud voice froze my hands midair.

“Don’t do that to my niece!”
