The door swung open, and Cole’s hand was already shoving his belt into place while I forced out a laugh, pretending to wipe at my eyes like we’d just been joking about something ridiculous. I sat on the side of the bed, leaning forward with a fake smile plastered on my face, trying to ignore the heat still burning between my thighs.
