VIVIAN

I slid into my seat across the table, clutching my notepad so tightly.

The meeting started with discussions about numbers… some guy was droning on about quarterly reports, but none of it landed in my head.

Because every time I shifted in my chair, I felt him.

And every time I glanced up, Sebastian’s eyes were already on me. Heat filled my cheeks, and I ducked my head quickly, scribbling nonsense on my notepad just to avoid his gaze.
