I woke up feeling like I’d finally won, i felt fucking warm, heavy, satisfied. My chest felt full in a way it never had before. For once I didn’t wake up restless or furious at the world, or at kade. For once there wasn’t that gnawing in my gut that everything was slipping out of my hands.
