“Still not replying, huh?” Alex asked, switching the TV in the living room on.

“Unfortunately, no.” I sighed as I tossed my phone aside, collapsing into the sofa behind me.

“Aww, that must suck…” he retorted, throwing me a sympathetic look. I couldn’t decipher if he was being sarcastic or not but,“...for you.”
