My hands were shaking so badly, I could barely hold up the phone.

Kayden and Serenity were watching me with horrified expressions. I was sure they were able to get some fragments of the conversation and their reaction wasn't too far off from mine.

"What do you want?" I finally asked, the words tasting bitter against my throat.
