I peered my eyes open and saw Lilith soundly asleep in my arms. A warm smile appeared on my face.

Her lips had gained back their rosy color, parted slightly as she drew in small calm breaths. The morning light filtered through the room, falling softly on Lilith's face highlighting her gentle features.

She didn't look half as ghostly as she did last night. Her long dark lashes, hair scattered perfectly over her face and her skin light and subtle.
