Finally, we were able to get home. I was so thrilled to be home. Everyone greeted us and later that night, I didn’t sleep. Instead I lay down on my bed and sigh. Simone is on the phone, even if she is just next door.

“The Elder Dragon is gone. No crisis, no disaster waiting to happen… it feels weird.”

Simone snorted. “Yeah, I’m sure it does seem weird given what has happened to you. I mean, I’m almost shocked at how quiet things are!”
