I frantically scanned the room to find a place to hide but my eyes widened in shock when I realized where I was.

The huge room was filled with massive life-sized tanks, each one connected to a mess of wires and strange machines. The eerie green liquid inside the tanks bubbled slightly, casting an almost iridescent glow in the dim room. They looked unsettling.

But it wasn’t the tanks themselves that horrified me.

It was what was inside them.
