“Not yet. But whoever it is, they know too much.”

The words tasted bitter in my mouth. I turned toward the glass wall of my office, the city gleaming below like a promise and a threat all at once. The skyline reflected against the surface — fractured, like everything I’d built could shatter again at the smallest crack.

Atlas leaned against the wall, arms crossed, his expression unreadable. “So we’re dealing with someone close. Someone with access.”
