Scanning the new cars parked along the street, I wasn’t looking toward the building that I’d had under surveillance when the car quaked with the sonic boom. I flinched back from the flash as smoke erupted and the air filled with scattering debris. The building my malware had determined was my destination was now engulfed in flames.
