Selena’s POV

Father leaned forward, his tone low and deliberate, his eyes fixed on me with that unnerving calm that always made me uneasy.

“You’re not going to sleep with Alpha Caleb,” he said finally. “I don’t want a cursed child in our family any more than you do. Kaia is enough.”

At the mention of my sister’s name, his lip curled in disgust. The sound of it made something twist inside me — anger, guilt, I wasn’t sure anymore.
