“You want us to stop?” Caleb asked, his voice unusually calm. Too calm. The kind of calm that meant his wolf was barely hanging on.

I nodded quickly. “Yes. Please.”

Caleb exhaled slowly, then turned his sharp gaze to Lucian. “I don’t have time for childish exchanges either,” he said, though the muscle in his jaw betrayed him. “But you need to tell me who this is. He can’t just walk into my pack territory and start spouting nonsense.”
