"Just let her be, I don't want to be the reason you'll cross your grandfather. Your grandfather wants her to be here, so I can't say otherwise," I said softly, even though every word tasted bitter. I wasn't defending Selena—I was simply tired. Tired of the drama. Tired of being blamed. Tired of being compared to someone who only knew how to destroy.
