 I didn’t know what he had in mind. Yet I showed my readiness for whatever he wanted to do. I didn’t want to portray myself as a coward. I would definitely tackle whatever he threw my way! 

 “Come with me!” His eyes glittered with amusement as he beckoned me. It immediately made me suspicious.
