“Oh okay so why did you ask to meet me today?” I asked him“Uhm first of all,how are you doing Ava?” He asked

“Not so fine but I'm slowly adjusting…how about you?” I asked

“Well I'm okay…but did you leave Herman at home?” He asked

“Sorry which home are we referring to here?” I frowned.

“Ava!! Your home with Herman…did you leave him there before coming here?” He asked

“Oh if that's what you mean,well I left that home two days back,why are you asking me about him though when he is your brother and i believe you can know anything about him better than me,” I replied

“Oh that explains why he was bitter!” He talked under his breath but I was able to hear what he uttered

“Wait what!? You mean he came here??” I furiously asked

“Ava please calm down…yes he came and he was very bitter,trust me Ava I had never seen my brother in that state before,” he replied

“Oh so he was bitter!! Hmmm what did he want from you if I may ask??” I asked

“He thought I was the one who snitched on him and made u find out all about him and his striper life,” he replied

“Oh so what did you tell him?” I asked again

“Of course I told him the truth because I'm not the one and I didn't know that you finally discovered about his secret life till yesterday when he dropped by,” he replied

“Yah I know you're not the one who told me about him,so did he believe you??” I asked

“Yah I think,but his emotions were all over the place,”he replied

“If he believed you then that's good because he won't attack you anymore I guess,” I told him

“Hope so,but the main reason why I called you here is that,he now thinks that our boss is the snitch because he had me and Liam in his mind and since I'm out,it means he is coming after him,” he said.

“But it makes no sense right now,he should just let it go,” I told him while leaning back in my seat.

“Ava I don't think that's possible because he thinks that whoever told you about him is the reason why you two are having this misunderstanding,” he said.

“Oh so he wanted me to go on and live in this lie forever!?? Like when was he planning to tell me the whole truth??” I asked him

“Ava,I really don't know about his plans but that's why I didn't try to intervene from the start…please warn our boss to be alert because we don't know when he will attack him,” he said

“Hey listen here,Liam is not a snitch even though he knew everything about his secret life but he's innocent in all this,” I told him

“Oh that's so bad because Herman doesn't know all this…this takes us back to the other reason why I called you out here to warn me to stay on the lookout because Herman is very furious lately,” he said

“Okay I'm going to tell him thanks for sharing with me,” I thanked him.

“Yah you're welcome Ava,stay safe please and I'm sorry for whatever going on in your life because I believe it ain't easy at all,” he said

“Yeah you're right but it will eventually pass…by the way no one snitched on him,I just got suspicious one day and decided to follow him up and boom I got to know every detail by myself…I was really heart broken,” my eyes got watery and he offered me a shoulder to cry on

“It's okay Ava,let it out…I won't judge,” he rubbed my back to calm me down.

I slowly pulled myself together and go tissue from the table ro clean my face,

“Thanks for being kind,you're young but far different from your brother,” I thanked him.

“Ava you're like my big sister and I respect you so much…please take good care of yourself,”he lightly touched my shoulder

We had lunch together before going back ro our respective offices…I found Liam pacing back and forth in the office and I was dumbfounded.

“Hey what happened?” I asked him

“Where have you been??” He asked back

“Jeez Liam,you can't answer a question with a question…please tell me why you're going crazy in here?” I asked him.

“Ava,Herman is going nuts,” he said while wiping sweat off his forehead.

“Yah I know that…I mean we all know that,so tell me what happened?” I asked again.

“He just called me a few minutes back and told me to watch my steps if I want to stay alive,”he replied

“What the fuck does he think he is!!? He can't call you up and start threatening you??” I angrily replied

“Well he just did…I'm now restless and I failed to concentrate back on my work,” he said

“Please calm down…,” I told him everything that Herman's younger brother just told me and he couldn't believe it.

“But that's ridiculous!! Why does he put the blame on us??! Did we make him go into this striper life?? He should man up and face his consequences,” he said while taking his seat

“Yes Liam I know but we need to be more careful from now on because we don't know what he's planning to do right now…and remember he wasn't a fan of you from way back because he thought you were hitting on me so just know he has a lot of hate towards you and now he got a good motive to come after you,” I told him.

“But Ava we both know that none of that is true,” he passed his hand through his hair.

“Yah I know that but Herman doesn't…please one thing we need to do right now is stay alert…wait,does he know your home address??” I asked him.

“No I don't think so but right now I can't be so sure,” he replied.

“Okay so do you think it will be a good idea to relocate right now??” I asked him.

“Yes Ava one hundred percent,let's leave that place because that crazy guy can reach us any time or who knows he has been stalking me for the past days!?” He said

“Okay then…let's finish up with work and go back to pack our stuff in the house,” I suggested

“Ava,I'm calling a few people to go to my apartment right now and help us in packing and they start shifting the things right away…meanwhile let me start looking for a new apartment,” he said
