“Okay perfect,please take the things to that address I just sent on your phone,”Liam said over the phone.“Ava we are good to go…let's drive to the new apartment so that these guys bringing the things can find us there,” he said

“Hey have you heard what I have just said??” He asked me because I was seated in the chair unbothered.

“Liam I heard everything you said,” I replied

“Then why are still seated there when I told you that we should be on our way now?” he asked

“Liam,I think running away from our problems won't solve them,” I leaned back in the chair with my eyes closed.

“Ava really!?? Apparently we don't have time to have this conversation please…what we need to do right now is to get out of the office and drive to the new address,” he replied

“Liam I'm sorry that I got you involved in my shit…right now you are on the run because of me,I'm really sorry Liam…maybe I should stay and face him so that he learns that you are innocent in all this,” I suggested

“Are you out of your mind?? He doesn't want to talk to you,he wants to face me and it's not like I'm afraid of him or what,but right now he's nor thinking straight and if we meet up,he might do something stupid because a lot is going on in his mind right now so that's why we need to move to this new apartment and don't you dare think that I'm leaving you behind…hell no,I'm taking you with you,” he emphasized

“Okay Liam let's get going,” I got up from the seat and grabbed my bag.

I stepped out of the office and stood out as he locked it,

“Okay Ava after you,” I led the way to the parking lot.

“Let's use your car if you don't mind,” he said

“Yah sure,” I replied

We were about to reach my car when we heard Herman's voice from behind and we quickly turned to confirm.

“Hey hold up you son of a bitch,where do you think you're going?” he shouted

“Oh my God Ava,what do we do now?” Liam asked

“It's okay I can handle him,please stay by my side,” I replied him

“Hey Herman, what are you doing here??” I shouted at him.

“I'm not talking to you so back off…Hey what are you doing with her??” Herman furiously asked while moving towards us

“Herman please let's not create a scene here…we can get somewhere where to talk from but first you need to lower your voice,”I told him.

“Hey I asked you a damn question,are you deaf or what?? What the hell are you doing with my wife huh??” Herman tried to aim at Liam's face with a punch but his feet were wobbly so he missed it and he fell on the ground…I ran to help him out but the smell that was coming out of him wasn't pleasant at all.

“Jeez Herman, have you been drinking since morning?? You stink like hell…this what you decided to do with your life right now?? Wow!” I was really disappointed in him

“Let me go…don't touch me,” he pushed me away and he helped himself up.

“Herman please you can do better,don't waste your life like this,” Liam said

“Hey shut the fuck up,hope you're the happiest man on earth since your plan went well as planned…isn't this what you wanted huh?? You told her about my secret life and now she ended up with you…you really played well,” Herman tried to slap Liam but again he missed a step and fell on the car bonnet.

“Herman careful,stop accusing him because he did nothing…I found it out on my own whether you believe it or not,” I tried explaining to him

“Ava I said I'm sorry for lying to you but you decided to move in with this fool,” he shouted at me.

*slamm*

“I didn't move in with him,I just needed a place to stay till my mental health is back to normal and I'm grateful that Liam offered to help me out,” I scolded him after giving him a hot slap as a way of trying to put some sense into his damn brains.

“Ava calm down please…he is not in his right mind so spare him,” Liam pulled me back.

“Go on and comfort her,I mean that's what you're good at,,,hypocrites,” Herman said while stammering.

“Thank God you're drunk because I was going to hit you once again…by the way stop turning the tables and acting like you're the victim here sucker…you played me and you're the one to be blamed here,I think I should give my lawyer a call so that he should speed up those divorce papers because I can no longer stand you,” my tears started coming out and Liam tried calming me down.

“Come on, let's leave right now please,” Liam pulled me to my car and we drove off.

We left him laying on the ground all wasted and I cursed the day I met him.

“It's okay Ava everything is going to be fine…but first, please don't stress yourself over him because he is not worth it,” he glanced at me and back on the road because he was the one driving.

“I'm sorry for dragging you in this mess because you're a good person and you don't deserve to be in any of this…please forgive me,” I apologized to him

“Ava I understand the situation and you're not the one to be blamed here…so don't blame yourself for everything that is happening now,” he gave me a warm smile to calm me down.

We reached the new apartment and these guys were already waiting for us because we spent a lot of time with Herman…Liam opened the house and they started carrying the furniture and everything inside and I they helped in organizing the house which took us like three hours or so…it was a hectic day and after the guys leaving,we ordered dinner for both of us because none of us could afford stepping in the kitchen and preparing dinner at this time.

I was done taking a shower and it was now Liam in the bathroom when I heard a knock on the door and when I opened the door,it was the delivery guy and my lips curled in a smile because I was hell starving,

“Dinner is here,hurry up please,” I talked to Liam who was taking his good time in showering.
