“Hope I got up right on time before she attacked you?” He asked while cupping my face.“Yes Liam,I'm fine thanks to you,” I replied.

I saw him losing balance while squeezing his head with both hands.

“Oh my God! Are you okay?” I pushed my chair and tried moving towards him.

“Yes baby I'm okay,I think she drugged me and that's why my head is spinning but let's go inside and get some first aid,” he came behind me and pushed the chair.

“Wait,are we leaving her outside here?” I asked.

“Good question,first wait here my love,I need to carry her inside and tie her up so that when she wakes up,she does some explanations,” he tried carrying her but because he was feeling dizzy,it was a failure.

He decided to just pull her inside and later came back for me but he found me pushing myself inside the house.

“You don't have to do that,I was coming for you,” he pecked me on the cheek and pushed me inside the house then locked the door very well.

“Let me get some cold water to clear this headache before I lose myself,” he grabbed some cold water from the fridge and came back where I was.

“So what do you think happened?” I asked.

“Uhm I was working on the laptop from the living room because I didn't want to distract your sleep so excused myself but as I was about to get done,Rose walked up to me and offered a cup of coffee to keep me active and i appreciated her for that kind gesture but little did I know that she had drugged me,” he tried to explain to me.

“But why would she do something like that to us?” I asked out of confusion.

“Same question that is running in my mind right now…so when I got done with work,I decided to step outside and get some fresh air while sipping on my coffee but after like five minutes,I lost balance and went to the floor and everything went black.

I regained my consciousness when I heard you crying and she was raising her voice at you to keep quiet,that's when I gathered all the strength left in me and stood up to save you,” he wiped his sweating forehead with his hand out of frustration.

“First go and search for her phone in the room please, maybe we can get a few answers on it,” I suggested.

“Good idea,wait here baby girl,” he stood up and ran to Rose's room.

After a few minutes,he was back with her phone in his hands.

“Baby girl,you won't believe it,” he walked towards me with his eyes stuck on the phone.

“Liam what?! You're scaring me right now,” I asked him.

“Rose,all along has been Linda's accomplice according to the chat here,” he handed me the phone.

“Oh my God! Meeting her at the doorstep wasn't a coincidence but rather she had come with her to show her where we were staying! Wow! and she directed her where we were meaning Linda was the one driving that black BMW!” I was truly impressed because Rose was such a good actor.

“Remember when she excused herself to talk on the phone and pretend that her daughter was sick?” I asked him if he remembered.

“Yeah yeah I remember,” he replied.

“Well,all that was an act,she was actually in communication with Linda according to the call logs here…Linda's number is the only contact she dialed and only call she received,” I showed him the phone.

“Wow! But how did these two come to work together?” He asked but unfortunately I also had no answer to that.

“Wait here for a second,we are not just going to sit here when someone with answers is laying down there…we won't sit back and wait for her to wake up,” he rushed to the bathroom and I knew he was up to some crazy idea.

He came back with a bucket of water and he was planning to splash it on Rose but I immediately stopped him.

“Okay,I see you're trying to wake her up but let's not do it from here please,” I tried to stop him.

“Why not?when we need answers right now,” he asked.

“Who's going to clean up the mess after splashing the water on her? Think about it…try and carry her to the bathroom please and we do the questioning from there,” I tried giving him a clear picture before pouring water in the living room.

“oh you have a point there,” he took back the bucket then came back and carried Rose to the bathtub while I slowly followed behind.

He poured a full bucket of cold water on her and she woke up from the dead while screaming.

“Can you please shut up,we need answers so you better compose yourself,” Liam roared and I had never seen him this angry at anyone before.

“Please guys forgive me,” she started crying.

“Before we get to that part of forgiving,Rose, who are you and why did you try to hurt us?” I asked her.

“Ma'am I'm really sorry but I think I was out of my mind…please forgive me,it won't happen again I promise,” she tried raising her hands but they were firmly tied up so she couldn't.

“Rose, listen,we are not dumb as you may think so you better start spitting the truth right now before we call the police on you,” he glared at her.

“Sir please try to understand me…I already…,” she was cut off by Liam's bang on the bathtub and she shifted out of shock.

“We already read all your chat with Linda so we would like to know how you two know each other,now start talking,” he ordered her.

“Uhm please promise me that you guys won't call the police on me after telling you the truth because I have a little girl waiting for me at home,” she begged us with tears running down her cheeks.

“I can't believe that you're still lying to us! Bitch we know you don't have a daughter because all that time you were talking with Linda not your girl's nanny,” I tried raising my voice because we were already sick and tired of her games.
