Later on when Liam was done with work we sat in the car and set off…we first dropped by the store to buy some stuff for Rose as earlier promised.She bought a few necessities and once she was done proceeded to some dinner and had our supper from there.“Uhm excuse me guys,I need to take this,” Rose excused herself to pick up a phone call.

“Baby girl,I'm really sorry that you're going through all this,” Liam apologised while gently holding my hand and looking deep into my eyes.

“It's okay,it's not entirely your fault,” I replied while giving him a warm smile.

“It is my fault baby girl…if I had not dated her in my past life then she wouldn't be after your life right now,” he rubbed my hand with his thumb.

“Yeah that's right but it's her choice to go on with whatever plan she wishes so right now you're not the one to be blamed,”I replied.

“Thanks my love for understanding,” he pulled me in a warm hug and I felt really safe.

We continued eating and Rose later came back on the table but with a long face which forced Liam to ask her what was bothering her.

“Uhm Rose,is everything okay? You really look stressed,” he asked her with two pairs of eyes stuck on her.

“Uhm it's just my daughter,” she replied while looking down.

“Rose! how come you didn't tell me that you have a daughter! Or it's my fault that I didn't ask you about it,” Liam slapped himself in the face.

“No sir,it's okay…we didn't just get a chance to talk about that issue,” she calmly replied.

“So tell us,what's wrong with your girl?” He asked her.

“When I told her that I wasn't coming back for three days straight,she cried her eyes out and that was her nanny I was talking to and she told me that my girl has gotten some fever due to over crying,” she replied and a tear dropped down on her cheek.

I stretched my hand and rubbed her on the back to calm her down.

“Oh my God Rose! this is not good…maybe you can go and spend a night with her then we shall meet in the morning as usual,”Liam suggested.

“No sir,we already made plans so I can't back out now,” she replied.

“Rose, listen to me please, we can drop you off right now and later share our location with you of the cabin because your girl's health comes first,” he replied.

“Rose I fully agree with Liam,you should go and spend tonight with your daughter please,” I replied.

“Guys I understand you are very concerned but remember I have three more days to sleep this side so it won't help if I go back home now… it's better I don't so that she gets used to it and I will be checking in with the nanny from time to time,” she replied.

“Oh okay then I understand…let's finish up and we get going because it's getting late,” he replied and we resumed eating our dishes.

When everyone was done eating,we hit the road but it was a cozy evening so Liam passed me his coat to warm up.

“Aww thanks,that's so thoughtful of you,” I gave him a warm smile.

“It's my job to look out for you my baby girl,” he winked.

“See how I am the luckiest girl in the world,” I really blushed.

“No,it's me who got lucky and ended up with the only living angel here on earth,” he extended his hand then rubbed my chin with his thumb and when our eyes locked,we both smiled at the same time.

“Guys please get a room,” Rose interrupted our moment and all the three of us started laughing.

Truth is,it slipped my mind that Rose was back there sitting in the same car with us.

“Guys I think we are being followed,” Liam looked through the rear view mirror and focused on the car that was running behind us.

“What do you mean by we are being followed?” I asked out of curiosity.

“I have been cautious and I took a few turns to confirm if my mind serves me right and I am absolutely right we are being followed by that black BMW,” he replied while focusing on the road.

“Liam,are you being serious right now?” I turned back and looked at the car which was right behind us and my heart started pacing.

“Guys calm down,I got this and whoever is driving that car is an amateur because he or she made it so obvious for me to notice it so just relax,” Liam replied.

“So what's your plan?” I asked him.

“I'm going to make a stop at the next gas station which is a few metres from here then we see if he or she will also pull over at the exact spot,” he replied.

Me and Rose sat quietly and let him do his thing and like he had said earlier,when we reached the gas station,he stopped and he stepped outside to buy gas while paying attention on the road to see the next step of the other driver.

We saw the black BMW parking along the road just opposite the gas station and we freaked out more.

“Guys let's drive past their car and see if we can identify the driver,” Liam came back in the car and after buckling up,he drove towards the car.

To our surprise,the car was tinted and being the late hours in the night,we could hardly see the face of the person or people inside that car but as soon as we passed it,they started their car and followed us again.

“Liam, they're back on the track,” Rose said while looking through the back mirror glass.

Liam started speeding up but I felt my heart in my knees because at this moment, I knew it was getting serious but I trusted him because he can't do anything to hurt us.

“Guys I am so sorry for over speeding but I need to speed up so that we can get lost from them because we don't know their intentions…Baby girl please pull out your phone and call 911 and let them know that we are being followed,” he suggested.

I immediately searched for my phone in the purse and dialed 911 as he requested me but I was shaking out of tension
