Ava's p.o.v I first took a close look at everyone and almost everyone's eyes were glued on their phones,

“Guys I think you know why I called this emergency meeting right?” I asked and I diverted their attention,now they were staring at me.

“Uhm ma'am why is our boss being falsely accused?” One of the lady employees asked while scrolling through her phone.

“Exactly my point,your is innocent and that's why I called everyone in here before you walk out of the building because the paparazzi are out there and anxiously waiting for anyone that steps out of here,” I replied

“Ma'am,so what's the plan? Are we going to be detained here until further notice?” Another employee asked.

“No please not at all,I just need us to cooperate because no one here was harassed in any way like the Internet is saying,” I replied.

“Okay ma'am,so what do you have in mind?” One of them asked.

“As you walk out of the building and bump into any paparazzi,try to tell them everything you know about your boss so that the world out there can know that those were false accusations. I believe we are the only ones to pull this off because your boss is already going crazy in there so all I'm asking is that you tell them the truth please,” I begged them.

“In that case,I think that's a piece of cake because no one knows our boss better than us…guys let's go out there and save our boss’ name,”one of them stood up and agreed to my decision and the rest of them backed him up.

“Okay guys good luck with that,now let me go back and meet your boss…once again thank you all for agreeing to do this with me,” I thanked them.

“Oh by the way,where's Sylvia?” I asked before I walked out of the boardroom.

“I'm here ma'am,” she raised her hand in recognition.

“So your dad came here earlier to meet Liam but he was bitter and he nearly went physical with your boss,” I told her.

“What! I didn't know about this ma'am,but why would he do such a thing?” She asked.

“Well just like the rest of the people who are not employed here,they took the news speculating on the Internet very true and serious…so in short, he had come to fight for you,” I replied.

“Oh no! How's boss doing if I may ask? Can I go ahead and apologise to him on behalf of my dad's actions?” she asked.

“No sweetie,it's all okay,your boss and I were able to understand your dad's reaction and he didn't take it personally,” I replied.

“Okay ma'am but please help me tell him that I'm really sorry,” she said.

“Okay then,guys let's get going now,” I pushed the door and headed back to my office.

“Hey,how did it go?” Liam quickly stood up from his seat as soon as he saw me stepping inside the office.

“Well,I got everything under control,” I gave him a tight embrace as assurance.

“Can you believe those people are still out there?” He asked.

“Yes babe,I know that but it won't be for long trust me,” I replied with a smile.

“Where's the remote babe?” I asked while moving my eyes around the room.

“It's inside my drawer,why?” He dumbly asked.

“We need to watch this live coverage babe,” I moved to his desk drawer and picked up the remote then turned on the tv.

Just as expected,it was being broadcasted on many channels.

“Babe are you hearing that?” I asked with a smile.

“So you mean to tell us that your boss Mr.Liam doesn't harass you ladies at work?” an interviewer asked one of our employees.

“Not at all,I have been working here for five years and he is the most professional person I have ever worked with,” she replied while looking straight into the camera.

“Maybe it's because you're an old employee,let one of the newbies tell us how it was to get the job,” another interviewer interrupted.

“Yes I'm a newbie in this company because I'm making a year here in five months time but if it weren't for my good grades on my transcript,I wouldn't have acquired this job because Mr.liam is one boss who is after quality not quantity,” another employee who is none other than Sylvia came from the back and replied.

“In addition to that,I'm an intern here but all I can say is that everyone here is very professional because there's no day I came here and felt less since they treat everyone equally and we all mind about our business,” one of our interns complimented.

“I think you came to the wrong company because Mr.liam is nothing like what you guys are speculating so if you don't mind please leave our premises right now,we have answered enough of your questions already,” Liam's secretary stepped in and put an end to these engagements.

“Okay but could any of you know who started the rumours on the Internet?” An interviewer asked.

“Or maybe your boss has many enemies that are trying to drag him down because if he is good like you all claim,then why would someone point a finger at him?” Another interviewer asked.

“Security,please make them leave right away because people need to use the drive way and they're occupying it,” she ordered the security guards and they came in for rescue.

They pushed the paparazzi away from the company's premises and the employees started making their way out to head back home.

“Baby girl,that was so smooth! How did you convince everyone to cooperate in such a short notice?” He asked with tears in his tears.

“Come on babe I didn't convince anyone,” I cupped his face and looked deep into his eyes.

“What do you mean you didn't convince anyone! How were they able to pull this off then?” He asked.

“Babe,you're a good boss,that was enough reason for everyone to come out for you and this is it,” I replied with a warm smile.

“Babe thank you so much,I really didn't know how I would pass through this situation because I had already started panicking and I would just ruin everything,” he pulled me close and gave me a kiss on my lips and I kissed him back.

“Babe, I think Herman lost again, haha,” I assured him.

“Yes baby girl but do you know what that means?” He asked.

“No,tell me,” I replied.

“He is coming up with another plan to pull me down because by the look of things,he doesn't give up so easily.

“Yeah that's right but we are also here to fight him back,we won't give up either,” I winked and he smiled.

“Babe look, your phone is ringing but there's no volume nor ringtone!” I pointed to where he had placed it on the desk.

“Baby girl I put it in silence because my calls were going crazy due to the Internet pressure…everyone wanted to know why I was trending all of a sudden but I also didn't have answers to give out because my head was spinning like crazy,” he replied.

“Ohh I understand babe,I think by now you have retrieved yourself and most of the people have known the truth now,” I replied.

“I hope so too baby girl,” he replied while pulling me into his embrace.
