Ava's p.o.v “Okay but before I get started, I would like to know how you got to find out about my dad?” he turned his gaze from Liam and over to me while patiently waiting for an answer.

I also looked at Liam so that he can get started with the explanations.

“Well,your dad and I have been business partners for quite some time now but I didn't know he was your dad till today,” Liam bent down and took a bite on his burger.

“How did you find it out and who told you just to be specific because not so many people know about us…and by us I mean me and Herman,” Alvin asked.

“Well,instead of your father appearing in the meeting we had earlier today,your brother sat in for him but it wouldn't cross my mind that he was your dad's son if some of the board members hadn't addressed him as Mr.wilson.” Liam replied.

“Oh I see,” Alvin folded his hands over the chest while processing Liam's statement.

“Remember when I hired you,of course I knew you're Alvin Wilson but there's no way I could think that you're related to the rich Wilson family and besides,why would one from such a family be hired in a company like mine,it wouldn't make sense…that's why we are here to clear off some burning questions,” Liam reached his serviette and wiped his mouth while looking at Alvin.

“Okay so here is the truth,my dad and Mom divorced when I was five and Herman was seven…mom built her life from scratch since she didn't take anything from dad out of pride and because our dad was very busy in building his career,we hardly saw him and that's why we lived with our mom,” Alvin tried to control his emotions because it seemed like they went through a tough time while growing up.

“And to answer your question why I work in such a place yet my dad is very rich and famous,well,me and Herman agreed to build our lives without our dad's support and that's why Herman chose to be a striper because he was masculine with abs and biceps which was a plus in that kind of a job.Ava please believe me when I say that he only did that job for money nothing else,yes,ladies were crazy over him but there's no day he had eyes on another woman for all the time you were together,” Alvin looked at me while saying all this and I looked away because I didn't want to get emotional.

“But if you say that Herman attended the meeting today instead of my dad,then something I'm missing out because as far as I know,Herman hated my dad more than anyone on this planet so I don't understand why he agreed to work with him!” He tried to figure things out but it was a dead end.

“Well,thanks for that clarity but we might be knowing why Herman suddenly agreed to work with your dad,” Liam replied.

“Then tell me why sir?” He asked Liam.

“He wanted to get close to Ava and there's no way I can back out because this is a huge project and your dad is the lead sponsor,” Liam replied.

“Ohh that makes sense,” Alvin replied.

“Wait,so your dad doesn't know that you work from here?” I asked Alvin.

“Nope,unless Herman told him so because I don't know what they're up to right now,” he replied.

“So I guess we will be working with your brother for the next three to four months on this project,” Liam entreated.

“Okay,I have no issue with that but please forgive me for lying to you and I hope this doesn't affect my job,” he looked over at Liam.

“No Alvin,you're a good employee and one of those young men I trust around here because you're very reliable so,you still have your job please,” Liam tapped on his shoulder to calm him down.

“Alright, thank you sir…I think I should head back to work…Ava it's always a pleasure sitting down with you,” he gave me a warm smile before he walked away.

“Uhm Alvin,one more question please before you leave,” Liam called him out and he turned to look at us.

“Yes boss,what is it?” He asked.

“Uhm,you said not so many people know that you're your dad's sons right? But,how come almost all of the board members knew Herman and respected him so much?” Liam asked.

“Well to answer that,Herman graduated with a Bachelors degree in business administration and he did his internship at my dad's company so he probably introduced him to most of his colleagues during his stay there,” he replied.

“When it comes to business, Herman is a threat to everyone but he just chose not to follow in his dad's footsteps,” he added.

“Oh okay,now all the pieces are adding up,” Liam nodded.

“Alright Alvin,thanks for sharing…you can take your leave,” Liam saluted him and he turned to head back to work.

“He's a good boy,” I complimented while looking at his back as he walked away.

“Yeah I totally agree,so what's the plan now?” Liam asked me.

“I really don't know babe,what do you have in mind?” I asked

“This is going to be a very long project because we hardly know of his plans yet but I'm not going to give up on you so easily I promise you my girl,” he cupped my face.

“We got this babe and I'm going to work hard to make you proud because you worked so hard for this project to happen,” I closed in and kissed him on the lips.

I did this freely because we were only left alone in the cafeteria since most of them had moved back to their offices.

“Should we get a room baby girl? I really want you right now,” he placed soft kisses on my neck.

“Okay let's move back to our office at least because anyone can easily walk in here and find us which will be so embarrassing,” I smiled at him and he immediately stood up.

“That was fast,you didn't even think it through?” I asked while grinning.

“There's no room for thinking when it comes to that so please get up and we go back to our office because you already turned me on,” he pointed at his pants to show me that his guy was already hungry.
