Ava's p.o.v “Hope the mechanic is on his way,” I said.

“Yes Ava,he will be here any minute from now,” he replied.

We sat there for about twenty five minutes and this mechanic guy finally showed up.

We stepped out of the car and Herman helped him in fixing the tyre.

“Thank you so much,” Herman thanked him.

“It's always a pleasure to help out sir,” he shook his hand.

“Ava,we're good to go now,” he gestured to me to get back in the car.

I opened the door and sat in…after clearing the bill,Herman came and sat behind the steering wheel and we moved to the site.

“Can I please borrow some on your phone?” I asked him.

“Yeah sure,” he reached for it in his pocket then he handed it over to me.

“Thank you,I need to call Liam. I'm sure he is already worried,” I picked the phone and dialed his number.

“What the hell?” My eyes almost came out of their sockets.

“Why are you yelling,” he frowned.

“Why in the fuck did you save that on his contact?” I furiously asked.

“Because that's what he is,” he casually replied like it wasn't a big deal.

“You man you're mentally sick,I have confirmed,” I replied.

You won't believe this stupid man saved Liam's contact as “crook”

Liam didn't pick up the call and I think he was skeptical since I'm using Herman's number and I can't blame him…I gave it another shot with fingers crossed so that he could pick up.

“Liam this is Ava,” I said the moment he picked the call.

“Oh thank God,what happened to your phone? You got me worried sick,” he replied.

“I know babe,I'm so sorry about that,” I apologized.

“Where's your phone? Why are you using that lunatic’s phone?” He asked.

“Babe calm down please,my phone blacked out and that's why I borrowed his phone to reach out to you,” I replied.

“Oh okay,so are you guys already on your way back here?” He asked.

“No babe,we are still on our way to the site,” I replied.

“What?! Up to now you're still on the way!! How come?” He asked.

“Babe,we have been stuck on the road for the last hour because of a flat tire but after fixing it,we are now back on the way to the site,” I replied.

“Ohh that's quite an adventure I must say,” he replied but according to his tone,he wasn't happy at all.

“Okay babe I gotta go,will give you a call later on,” I then hung up and gave back his phone.

“Hmm i think someone is mad,” Herman started mocking me.

“It seemed like he didn't buy any of the things you just explained to him haha…I think his shallow mind is giving him that we are here making out haha,” he laughed out loud and I glared at him.

“We are here now my love,” he smirked while pulling over.

I threw his blazer at him while I removed my seat belt.

“Hey easy,you might hurt my eyes while throwing this at me,” he blurted.

“But you can keep it because it's still cold outside and I don't want to fall sick because your annoying boyfriend will be mad at me,” he suggested.

“No thank you,I'm good now,” I stepped out of the car.

I opened the back door and picked my notebook from the bag because I will need to note down a few things since my phone is off.

We moved to meet five more guys who were already waiting for us…amongst them was an engineer who took us through the whole process of how the infrastructures will be set up while others advised him in one way or the other.

It took us like thirty minutes to wind up with everything and it was time to head back to the office…but it's today that I was able to experience Herman's business man side and I must say I was mesmerised.

Since he will be the leading sponsor of this whole project,there's a way he carried himself and his aura filled the place and whatever he suggested,all the other men just nodded…damn he's so good!

“Hey are you hungry?” he asked while starting the engine.

“Yes I am but I'm going to eat at the office,” I replied.

“Come on! We can make a stop at some restaurant or cafeteria and grab something to eat because I'm also starving,” he touched his tummy.

“No,I insist,” I replied

I think he wasn't listening to me because in the next few minutes,he made a stop at some restaurant which forced me to glare at him.

“Glares don't kill babe! You can do that whole day haha…wait here please,” he didn't even care that I was mad,he left me in the car and rushed inside.

I don't know when I dozed off but I was woken up by his thumb rubbing my cheek.

“Hey kitty wake up and first eat something,” he woke me up and I slowly stretched myself and sat upright.

“Take a bite please,” he offered me an envelope.

“Firstly,you brought me here even after saying no then secondly, you didn't ask what I wanted but rather just walked in there and bought me anything,” I started complaining.

“Okay ma'am I'm sorry about all that but how about you first check what I brought you before complaining and making faces,” he said.

I opened the envelope and there was my favourite junk food,burrito! Since I was so hungry,this was the perfect choice.

“You still remember?!” I asked.

“Of course I do,how can I forget about it…go ahead and dig in,” he said.

“Thank you so much,” I thanked him.

I started eating it but it was really delicious,I don't know if it was just hunger or they prepared it pretty well!?...he had a burger on the other side.

“This is for you please,” he gave me a Pepsi and I thanked him.

After eating and feeding our hungry worms,he started the car and we went back to the company.

We reached the company and I stepped out of the car,

“Hey Ava,” he called me out before I walked away and I bent down to hear what he wanted to say.

“Today was fun,” he smiled a bit.

“By fun you mean,having a flat tire and the rain?” I asked.

“Haha,no,I mean spending a day with you was fun,” he replied.

“Hmm okay good for you,” I straightened myself and walked away.
