“Uhm Rose,meet your patient Ava…Ava meet your nurse Rose,” Liam introduced us.“Nice to meet you Rose,” I extended my hand to her.

“Nice to meet you too Ava,so how are you feeling?” She asked while shaking my hand.

“Well I'm fair but thanks to Liam who is always here to make me feel better,” I looked up at him and he gave me a warm smile.

“Oh that's good to know that you have someone around to make sure that you're fine,” Rose said.

“Uhm Rose like I told you earlier,you will help her with physicals so that her body gets back to normal and also help her take her medicines in time,” Liam told her.

“Yes sir I got that and I will be glad to help her,” she replied.

“Good,so when I get back from work that's when you will also go back home and get some rest…my main focus is for her to have someone around and not leave her alone…that's why you need to tell me anything you need prior so that it won't be a reason for you to step out and leave her alone in here while I'm away,” Liam stressed his points.

“Okay sir I get you and trust me I'm ready to work,” she replied

“Good,now let me go and get ready for work since you're here now,” he gave me a peck on the forehead before heading to his room.

“Hey Ava, your husband is so sweet,” she said with a smile.

She just called him my husband and I smiled big.

“Okay so what are we going to start with??” I asked.

“Well,we can take some walks and see how your legs are doing…wait,have you had breakfast?” She asked.

“No not yet…but Liam had prepared some earlier, maybe we should go and take together,” I replied.

“Oh okay then,” she pushed me towards the table and we started eating.

“Oh guys you're here…alright now I'm heading out but incase of anything,Rose,please don't hesitate to give me a call,” this time he kissed me on the lips and if Rose wasn't around,I wouldn't allow him to go to work because I wanted more of him.

“Take care guys,” he left the house but my cheeks were burning.

“Wait here let me get you some ice,” Rose stood up.

“But we are taking tea and I don't want iced tea since it's freaking cold out there,” I said.

“Yess that's right but your cheeks are on heat so I just thought I could get you ice to cool them down,” she started grinning.

“Rose please stop…haha,” I know she was teasing me but true my cheeks were burning.

“Okay let's get done here so that we can start with the physicals,” she said.

We finished eating and she helped in cleaning the dishes even though I tried to stop her but she's so stubborn that she insisted.

She helped me get up from the wheelchair and we started taking some steps back and forth.

“When you feel numb,you tell me and we take a break,” she told me and I nodded.

“Okay now slowly move while lifting your knees to the position which is favourable for you and with time we will keep adjusting,” she instructed.

I tried lifting them up but it seemed impossible and I could only lift my leg off the ground nothing else.

“Rose I can't,” I looked down out of embarrassment.

“It's okay Ava,take it slow…don't be too hard on yourself,we are going to do this step by step and I'm here for you,” she rubbed my back to calm me down.

“Okay sit down please,let's take some break now,” she brought back the chair and I sat down.

“So do you have some food in the house?” She asked.

“Uhm I think so…please check in the fridge,” I replied.

“Oh there's some chicken drumsticks…maybe we can do with that,what do you think?” She asked.

“No Rose you can't cook for me because that is not part of your job and besides Liam is going to order some food for both of us,”, I replied.

“Come on Ava,I can actually cook…okay call your husband and tell him not to order food for us because I'm going to cook today and if you don't like my food then tomorrow onwards we shall order outside…deal??” She asked.

“Oh Jeez Rose you're so stubborn!” I got my phone and texted Liam.

She started cooking and basing on the aroma coming from the kitchen,I could tell that she is a good cook.

After some minutes she called me on the table and she served me but Jesus christ! I was already drooling…

“Rose this looks absolutely tasty,I can't wait to taste it,” I told her.

“Then what are you waiting for?! Go right ahead and taste it because I'm waiting for your feedback,” she looked at me.

“Mmh mmhh oh my God! Rose are you sure you're in the right job?” I asked while covering my mouth with a hand.

“Haaha why?” she asked.

“Are you kidding me?! This is a chef kind of recipe…I don't know what you did in there but I absolutely love the taste of this food…It was a good idea to allow you cook…my goodness!” I complimented her.

“Haha enjoy…so that means even tomorrow I will cook right?” She asked.

“Absolutely…as long as it's not a burden,”I replied.

“No,to me cooking is a hobby so it can't be a burden,” she said

We went ahead to eat our delicious meal…ohh by the way,she made deep fried drum sticks with smashed potatoes and before I could never order for such a meal but she changed my mindset in seconds,wow!

Evening reached and when Liam came back,she had to leave and now Liam took over.

“So tell me how's she?” He asked.

“She is okay,”

“No Ava,like will she be able to do the job perfectly well?” He asked again.

“Of course,she is good at it and I like her already,” I replied.

“Oh okay that's good to know…so let's go take a shower then we can eat dinner,” he suggested.

“Take a shower??” I asked while blushing.

“Yes Ava,I'm going to help you shower," he replied.

“Ohh okay,I wanted to be sure,”

“What do you mean,” he frowned.

“That it's only a shower nothing else,” I replied

“Oh haha maybe I just said shower to cover up other things involved,so you never know what might go down,” he replied and moved closer to me and my heartbeats lost control.
