Ava's p.o.v Five days have passed and my stay at the hospital has come to an end…we got discharged and I was really feeling better.I think it's always good to listen to doctors because I'm far better than when I just arrived here.

“Thank you for always being by my side and making sure that I got everything I needed,” I buckled up and made eye contact with him.

“Baby girl, this is something I enjoy doing so no need to thank me because you and that baby are now my responsibility,” he replied with a wink before starting the engine.

“Here is your phone,your husband has been calling and texting you everyday like crazy,” he handed me my phone.

I looked at the call log and it was filled with Herman's missed calls.

“Why didn't you pick him up?” I asked.

“And tell him what? That you're laying on the sick bed? Why?! So that he can start messing with us again!” He frowned.

“Oh you're right, he would definitely come over and it would be total chaos here,” I replied.

“Would you like to grab something before we reach home?” he asked.

“No,I think I'm good,thanks though,” I replied.

We drove for half an hour but it seemed like we were going to a different destination, not our house.

“Babe,where are we heading to,” I curiously asked while paying attention on the road to see if I could trace any familiar things.

“Uhm,we are heading to the cabin baby girl,” he replied.

“Why not our house??” I asked

“My girl,you need to stay in a peaceful environment so the cabin house was a perfect choice and this time I'm not going against the doctor’s instructions,” he replied.

“But at least we would first talk about it,you don't need to dictate the decisions,” I replied.

“Of course I don't want that place,can we please go back to our house?” I begged him.

“No babe,please I can't take you back home because Herman can easily have access there,” he replied.

“But he can still find me in that cabin,remember Rose knows it so I'm sure she had already shared the address with Herman and Linda,” I reminded him.

“Baby girl,this is a temporary thing…we will be relocating to our new home soon,” he replied with a smile.

I didn't want to put up a fight with him so I decided to keep quiet and leaned back with my focus on the road.

We reached the cabin and we moved inside the cabin.

“This place looks fresh,when did you get time to clean it up?” I looked around at every corner and furniture.

“Baby girl, you need to do stuff when you have money…you just pay someone to do it for you,” he held my hand and took me to our bedroom.

“Last time we were here,we didn't get a chance to enjoy ourselves but I hope it's not too late to compensate right,” he whispered in my ear plus biting my ear lobe and I moved a bit.

“Tell Liam tomorrow I'm coming to his office,”

“At least pick up my calls or leave me a message,”

Among others,I deleted all the messages and the call log because I didn't want anything to do with him now…they brought our food and we had our dinner before sleeping off.
